Q: When and why did you start training for fighting?

ANSWER: I started fighting in 2017, when I was 19 years old because, as a Mongolian, fighting is in my blood.

ANSWER: MGL-1 FC flyweight champion, Gladiator FC flyweight champion

ANSWER: Judo Blackbelt, Bayanbulag and Bayankhongor Mongolian Wrestling Champion

ANSWER: Conor McGregor

Q: Do you have any heroes outside of fighting?

ANSWER: Genghis Khan

Q: What does it mean for you to fight in the UFC?

ANSWER: It’s a huge honor for me and all of Mongolia.

Q: Did you go to college and if so what degree did you earn?

ANSWER: Graduated from Mongolian National University in January 2026

Q: What was your job before you started fighting?

ANSWER: Nomadic herder (my parents are still nomadic herders)

Q: Specific accomplishments in amateur competition?

ANSWER: Mongolian sambo 2nd and 3rd place

Q: Specific accomplishments in pro competition?

ANSWER: Judo national competition 3rd place, Sambo national championship 3rd place

Q: What fight do you consider to be the key fight in your career?

ANSWER: My fight at UFC Shanghai because it was my first UFC win and a 1st round finish. I believe winning in the UFC is an honorable achievement.

Q: Is there a cause that you want to use your platform for?

ANSWER: I want to promote Mongolia and its culture to the world via the UFC and give passion to Mongolia’s youth. I want to promote the nomadic lifestyle as it’s the best way to follow the laws of nature and nature is our life. We are the last nomads on earth.

Q: Beyond a championship or money, what motivates you?

ANSWER: I am motivated by the blue sky, Mongolia, and my family. The history of my ancestors and the traditions of the Mongolian people inspire me.

ANSWER: Armbar

Q: Tell us about your life outside of fighting:

ANSWER: I love my wife (Nyam) and children very much. Family is the most important thing for a man. I have a 5-year-old son (Temuge) and a 1-year-old daughter (Yesui). I love horses and my joy is riding my horse and hunting in nature.

Q: What is one thing that you want UFC fans to know about you?

ANSWER: We are the descendants of the great Chinggis (Genghis) Khan, we have a great history and culture, and we are the people who carry the greatest cultural heritage of nomadic life.
