ANSWER: I was obsessed with the UFC video game as a teenager and realized I wanted to be in the ring doing what they were doing. I started training Jiu Jitsu shortly after and have been in love with combat sports ever since.

ANSWER: My amateur title fight on IGNITE forced me to deal with bouncing back from nearly getting knocked out in the first round. I ended with the win but it was a lesson in keeping my head clear and persisting.

I met my fiancée, Lily, there and we have been together for 3 years and are due to get married in May of 2026. I worked in drywall for 3 years but was fortunate enough to get a job that offers a lot of needed flexibility with my future father-in-law on his BBQ Food Truck, Hog Call Barbeque.
