Q & A
Q: TRAINING:
Q: Head back to the Lab for team practice at 3:
ANSWER:
30-5pm. Afterwards, I either come home to eat and rehydrate or stay at the gym for a small break before BJJ class or personal pad work. Usually back home around 7-8pm and work on rehydration again and have dinner - normally chicken stir fry with some hot sauce, of course. Wind down with a movie for the night. Wash, rinse and repeat 6 days per week
Q: When and why did you start training for fighting?
ANSWER:
I started back in 2009 just as an alternative outlet and to stay in shape. After my dream of playing professional hockey abruptly came to a halt, I started working a desk job where I sat in a cubicle, stared at a computer and talked on the phone all day. It nearly drove me crazy so I needed another outlet. I had a friend who trained so I decided to start taking some Jiu-Jitsu classes but never had any intention of fighting. After the first day I was hooked and had my first fight a year later just for fun. Again, no intention of ever doing another fight. However, I did another...and another...and here I am today. It's been a wild ride
