Q: When and why did you start training for fighting?
ANSWER:
In 2008 at Gracie United gym – I was a huge fan of the UFC and found out there was a new gym in town that could provide the training I needed to get into it.

ANSWER:
I’ve held the Titan FC featherweight championship & Titan FC lightweight championship, FFI lightweight champion XFC lightweight champion, TUF 31 lightweight winner

ANSWER:
Went undefeated 8-0 and won welterweight & lightweight titles

ANSWER:
First-degree black belt in jiu jitsu
Q: What has been your toughest fight to date and why?
ANSWER:
The toughest fight has been Thiago Moises, because it was in his hometown of Brazil. He had the fans on his side and they gave him good energy.
Q: Who is your favorite fighter and why?
ANSWER:
My favorite fighter was Chuck Liddell. His fights, his walkouts and his character always motivated me and made me want to be a fighter.

ANSWER:
I love spending time coaching my kids in martial arts, I like to spend time at home with my family barbecuing or boiling seafood, fishing and taking a boat ride on the river, playing golf and watching football on Sundays.
