Q: When and why did you start training for fighting?

ANSWER: I’ve been training martial arts now for 20 years, but I got into MMA in 2010 because I wanted to compete and test myself in real fights.

ANSWER: Fury FC Lightweight Champion

Q: Any accomplishments in amateur combat sports?

ANSWER: 1x IBJJF Black Belt Adult NoGi Dallas Open Champion (Middleweight)

Q: Any belts/ranks in grappling disciplines?

ANSWER: Black Belt BJJ

Q: What has been your toughest fight to date and why?

ANSWER: No fights really come to mind as being the toughest, although they are all tough in their own right.

Q: Who is your favorite fighter and why?

ANSWER: My favorite fighter is GSP because he embodied a true martial artist and champion. I also love his fight style and the tactics he used in the cage.

Q: Did you go to college and if so what degree did you earn?

ANSWER: No, I knew I wanted to do martial arts for a living from pretty young.

Q: What was your job before you started fighting?

ANSWER: Personal trainer

Q: Personal life/background:

ANSWER: My wife and I have a baby girl and two dogs. I run Marathon MMA full time and am a full time MMA coach as well. We love to spend our free time going on adventures outside or spending time in our backyard.
